The Indians finish the season with a record of 18-36-1 this year coming on strong in the second half battling all of their competition hard right till the end.  Colton Hayes, Jeff Rahilly, and Garth Wickham lead the team in scoring during the year on the offensive side, while Justin Moyle, Parker Rutledge, Spencer Sempalla, Warner Young, Steven Cope, and Travis Blackhurst held down the blue line.  In net Dmitri Kochan and Alex Rairigh split duties.  The Indians would like to thank everyone who make the season possible from the billet families, score clock people and referees, without them not of this would be possible.   The staff of the team are already working towards next season and more information will be posted shortly concerning tryout dates for the 2018-2019 season.  Thank you to everyone who has helped along the way.

Compuware doubles up on the Indians 4-2

In a must win game for the Indians Compuware came out flying but Alex Rairigh stood tall in the net and shut the door to put the score at 0-0 at the end on the first period.  In the second period they continue to force the issue and scored late in the period on a bad bounce to take a 1-0 lead, then with less than two minutes remaining in the second period they added to their lead to take a 2-0 lead into the dressing room at the end of two periods.  With their backs against the wall the Indians came out determined to fight back and with 2:00 minutes gone in the third period Drayke Micolo found Cam Parrott alone in front of the net and he made no mistake burying in behind their goaltender to cut the lead in half.  Three minutes later Colton Hayes won the battle in the corner for the puck and fed Garth Wickham in front of the net for the tying goal, making it 2-2.  The Indians mounted pressure but couldn't score and midway through the period Compuware scored on the power play to regain the lead and then with the net empty scored to solidify the win for the them.  Alex Rairigh played outstanding in the net for Indians stopping 40 shots.

The Indians will be back in action thursday night at the Taffy Abel Arena at 630 pm, more information will follow.
