Indians fall to the kings 3-2
In the final game of the six game series the Kings outlasted the Indians to take a 3-2 win. The Kings struck first blood at the 10:38 mark of the first period, however Mike Miller scored assisted by Trevor Jestadt and Andrew Barbeau to finish the period tied at one. In the second Thunder Bay again scored first until Landon Hubbard scored on a breakaway to knot the score. The kings broke the tie at 7:00 minute mark to go into the dressing room ahead by one. In the third the Indians mounted a continuous offensive attack of 17 shots on their net but could not get one past the Kings netminder and fell 3-2.
On the weekend Coach Carricato was happy with the teams play stating that "we are going in the right direction and becoming a better and consistent team on the ice".
The Indians next action will against Little Ceasers, Saturday night at 7 pm at the Taffy Abel arena with the rematch Sunday morning at 10 at the Pullar Stadium.
