Indians fall to Texas 4-3

In the first game the Indians jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period on goals by Casey Gilling assisted by Tyler Baker, Trevor Jestadt from Andrew Barbeau and Frankie Pucci. The third goal was scored by Frankie Pucci from Cole Lussier and Tyler Baker. The Tornadoes fought back to within one goal on power plays and tied the game with 37 seconds remaining. During a scramble in front of the Indians net with 17 seconds remaining the puck found its way into the net giving Texas the win.

Coach Carricato comments concerning the game were that "we need to be mentally stronger when pushed by the opposition and close the game out the right way"

Next action will be at 630 this evening against the Chicago Mission at the Hazel Park Arena
