Indians win the bronze metal championship game with a 2-1 overtime victory over the Lansing Capitals
Lansing jumped out to 1 goal lead at the 5:31 mark of the first period. At the the 3:02 mark of the second period Ethan St.Germain took a nice pass from Casey Gilling and put it past the Lansing goalie to tie the game at 1. The teams played even throughout the remainder of the game and it went to overtime.
At the 2:48 mark of the first overtime period Trevor Jestadt worked to keep the puck inside blue line and fed in to Casey Gilling. Gilling put the shot on the Lansing Goalie and followed for rebound putting it under the goalie to ice the win.
The Indians next action will be against the Thunder Bay Kings home at 7:00 Friday at the Big Bear Arena and Saturday at 2pm at the Big Bear Arena. The finally game will played at 10am Sunday morning at the Pullar.
