Indians came out quick and strong downing the electricians 10-0
It was only a matter of time until the newest member of Indians Ashton Calder scored his first goal and tonight he opened the scoring at the 15:16 mark unassisted and again at the 3:13 mark assisted by Landon Hubbard and Brenden MacLaren to end the period 2-0. Cole Lussier found the net at 12:07 mark from Frankie Pucci and Kyle Yates to start the scoring in the second period, Ethan St.Germain lit the lamp assisted by Trevor Temple and Brian Stack. The final goal of the period was scored by Landon Hubbard from Calder and MacLaren and the teams went to the dressing with the Indians up 5-0. The flood gates opened in the 3rd when Pucci scored a minute into the period, assists going to Kyle Yates and TJ Zajac, Temple added to the lead 3 minutes later assisted by Hubbard. Calder scored his third of the game for the hat trick assisted by Zajac and added his fourth goal of the game at the 4:09 mark unassisted. Trevor Jestadt finished the scoring at :54 second mark assisted by Mike Miller. Jared Sauve took the win and shutout in the net.
The second game of the weekend series will be at 10 am Sunday morning at the Lakeview Arena.
