Indians take a 4-2 win over West Michigan Hounds
In the third game this weekend the Indians topped West Michigan Hounds with a solid effort. Throughout the first two periods they mounted a continuous attack on the Hounds goalie but couldn't get one by him and the teams remained tied at 0-0 thru two periods. In the third West Michigan found the net two minutes in to take the lead, however the Indians came right back on a power play goal by Brenden MacLaren from Kyle Yates and John Pesek. Thirty seconds later Pesek scored on a shot from the point to take the lead from Blake Mastaw and Kristian Jackson. Mike Miller added to the lead a minute later from Nick Skaluba and Cole Lussier to go up 3-1. The hounds got back to within 1, however Nick Skaluba solidified the win with an empty net goal. CJ Boothe took the win in net.
The Indians will complete the four game weekend with a rematch against the Hounds today at 12:15
