Indians fall to the London Jr Knights
Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 03:53PM Penalties were the Indians enemy again today against the London Knights as they score 3 power play goals to down the Indians 4-1. The Indians jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Landon Hubbard buried a nice shot past the Knights goalie assisted by John Pesek and Brenden MacLaren early in the first period. Both teams played tight until the 4 minute mark of the second period when the Indians were called for two penalties and were force to kill on a 5-3. The Knights manage to score two goals during this power play and was the difference in the game, in the third the Indians had several opportunities to but couldn't get any offense and Knights finished the game with an empty net goal at the end of the game for the win. Brandon Gordon played excellent in the net in a losing effort.
The Indians will take on the Toronto Marlies tonight at 7:10 pm
