Columbus Blue Jackets down the Indians 4-1
Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 02:09PM Columbus lived up to their ranking and opened the scoring in the first period capitalizing on their opportunities to gain a 2-0 lead. In the second period the Indians picked up their play and finally scored when Ethan St.Germain jumped on a loose puck and put a shot behind the Blue Jackets goalie, Kyle Yates and Trevor Jestadt assisted. Both teams played even the remainder of the period, in the third after several opportunities to tie the game Columbus picked up the puck on an odd man rush and score to push the score to 3-1. The Indians continued to try and get within one, however with goalie pulled the Blue Jackets scored an empty net goal to seal the teams fate. Brandon Gordon played exceptional in net in a losing effort.
The Indians will now play CP Dynamo at 4:45 at the Taylor Sportplex.
