Indians fall in a heartbreaker to Gilmour Prep Academy

In the opening game of the Motor City Showcase Gilmour Prep struck early in the first period to take the lead, however the Indians fought back to even the score on a Kobie Guidebeck power play goal set up by Chase Tallaire.  Two minutes later Guidebeck stole the puck on a penalty kill and set up Cain Grosbeck in all alone on the Gilmour netminder to score the second goal for the lead.  Both teams went up and down the ice in a face paced game trading scoring opportunities, but with 12 minutes left Gilmour tied the score on a power play of their own, then scored on another power play with 2 minutes remaining for the eventual game winning goal.  With the Indians pressing for the tying goal the puck came loose to the Gilmour player for a breakaway and a fourth goal to secure the win.  Logan Raffaele played outstanding in net for the Indians

The Indians take on the Colorado Tigers at 11 am, then face Team Indiana at 630.
