Indians fall twice in Lansing to Meijer AAA
Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 10:43AM This weekend the Indians travelled to Lansing to take on the 14th ranked Meijer AAA in MAHA league action. Battling a short bench due to injuries the Indians skated even through the first half of the game until Meijer opened the scoring to take the lead then added another before Max Povoronzuik scored on tipped shot from Dylan Bott to get back with in one. That however would be all the offense the Indians could muster and Meijer added three more goals to secure a 5-1 win. Logan Raffaele was in net for the Indians.
On Sunday it was the Indians who took the early lead on a goal by Jaden Martin from Robbie Landis and Chase Tallaire, but Meijer fought back scoring 5 unanswered goals for another 5-1 win. Gabe Rosek had the duties between the pipes for the Indians.
This coming weekend the Indians will travel to Windsor Ontario to play A21 Academy on Friday night, Saturday morning before returning to Detriot to play the Oakland Grizzilies on Saturday night.
