Indians Drop a pair of games to Belle Tire
Saturday facing Belle Tire the Indians got hit for 3 quick goals in the first six minutes putting them in an up hill fight which they couldn't dig out of. After they settled down both teams played even, Colin Goff scored to get some momentum back, however Belle tire added two more for a 5-1 final on Saturday. Cam Labadie was in net for the Indians.
On Sunday the Indians played even through the first period but Belle again jumped out to the lead. Colin Goff scored his first of two goals off the faceoff from Alex Fruend, then Belle added two of their own before Goff stole the puck while killing a 5 on 3 penalty going in on breakaway for the Indians second goal. From that point on Belle Tire scored again and took a commanding lead for an 8-2 final. Labadie took the loss in net.
Indians will be back in action this coming weekend at home against Little Caesars 4pm Saturday and 10am Sunday at the Taffy Abel arena.
