Indians double up on Shattuck St. Marys 2-1

Saturdays game at the Dixon matched the Indians against Shattuck St. Marys from Fairbault Minnesota. Both teams came ready to play with action up and down the ice with teams trading scoring opportunities, but it was until late in the second period when Jack Mattais scored from Will Boyer and Eli Doughardt-Wood to take the lead. Shattuck didn't lay down and came back to tie the game with 2 minutes remaining in the second period. The third period saw Bryce Grandbois take a pass of the wall from Robbie Landis and went in to beat the Sabre netminder over shoulder for what turned out to be the winning goal. Logan Raffaele turned away 23 shots to take the win in net.
The Indians will finish the tournament Sunday against the Indy Jr Fuel at 145pm CST.
