Sunday, October 6, 2013 at 12:20AM The Indians came out strong against the Grizzlies battling through two period down 3-1 on a goal from Trevor Jestadt assisted by Seiya Hayata and Frankie Pucci. In the third period the Indians ran into penalties and gave up 3 power play goals to fall 6-1.
The Indians face off against the Michigan Northstars at 9.
Friday, October 4, 2013 at 08:43PM The Indians battled hard against the Chicago Mission. The Mission jumped out 1-0 lead at the 11:42 mark of the first period but Ethan St.Germain tied the game on an unassisted goal. The second period saw the mission score 4 unanswered goals. The third period the teams played even until the Mission scored on a power play at the 3:19 mark.
Indians face off against the Oakland Grizzlies at 1:30 tomorrow.
Friday, October 4, 2013 at 01:27PM In the first game the Indians jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period on goals by Casey Gilling assisted by Tyler Baker, Trevor Jestadt from Andrew Barbeau and Frankie Pucci. The third goal was scored by Frankie Pucci from Cole Lussier and Tyler Baker. The Tornadoes fought back to within one goal on power plays and tied the game with 37 seconds remaining. During a scramble in front of the Indians net with 17 seconds remaining the puck found its way into the net giving Texas the win.
Coach Carricato comments concerning the game were that "we need to be mentally stronger when pushed by the opposition and close the game out the right way"
Next action will be at 630 this evening against the Chicago Mission at the Hazel Park Arena
Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 08:07PM The Indians first action of the weekend will be at the Farmington Hills Arena against the Texas Tornado at 1130 Friday morning with their second game being played at the Hazel Park Arena at 630 pm against the Chicago Mission. On Saturday the Indians will face off against the Oakland Grizzlies at 130 at the Hazel Park Arena.
