Oakland takes two from the Indians on the weekend

The Oakland Grizzlies came to town with intentions of getting two wins and accomplished what they wanted. Saturday they started early and scored six goals to take a 6-0 win as the Indians could seem to get anything to go their way in that game. Alex Rairigh stopped 51 shots in a loosing effort for the Indians.
On Sunday, Oakland again jumped out to an early lead, then lead 5-0 at the end of the second period. In the third the Indians finally came alive and mounted several good scoring chances and Nathan Brown made an end to end rush ending with him putting the shot over the goalies shoulder to break the ice for the Indians. Finally scored ended 5-1. Jeb Barrett took the loose in net.
The Indians hope to get back on the winning ways next weekend as the travel to Detroit for the Compuware/Honeybaked Tournament Friday through Sunday.
