Indians down the West Michigan Hounds 3-2
In a fast paced up and down game both teams had several scoring opportunities before Trevor Jestadt took a nice pass from Casey Gilling and Frankie Pucci at the 9:38 mark of the first period to open the scoring for the Indians and kept 1-0 lead through the first period. West Michigan answered back 8 minutes into the second period to tie the game up on a power play. With 1:12 left Nick Cammarata beat the defenseman and a foot race to the puck with their goaltender to set up Brian Stack for a goal and the other assist going to Andrew Barbeau. The teams went to the dressing room with the Indians up 2-1. In the third period West Michigan came out and tied the the game up with 8 minutes remaining, however 2 minutes later Ashton Calder beat the Hounds goaltender for what would be the game winning goal assisted by Landon Hubbard and Ethan St.Germain. Brandon Gordon played exceptional in net for Indians to take the win.
Both teams return to action tomorrow morning at 10am at the Pullar Stadium.
