Saturday afternoon the Indians scored soon and often taking an 8-3 win. Kyle Portlock opened the scoring when he picked off a pass at center ice then put a shot over the shoulder of the A21 netminder, midway through the period Kevin Bostwick beat the goalie again on a shot from the slot, assisted by PJ Donnelly, for a 2-0 lead. With 3 minutes remaining in the first period Alex Gordon scored from Grant Wickham and Portlock to give the Indians a 3-0 lead at the end of the period. A21 broke the ice scoring midway in second, then Seth Francios block a shot on the penalty kill and went in on the breakaway scoring to give the Indians a 3 goal lead again, A21 bounced right back to get within 2 again less than a minute later. PJ Donnelly scored late in the second period assisted by Wickham, then Max Povorozniuk scored on a rebound assisted by Kevin Smith, and with 2 minutes remaining in the second period Jack Swan scored from Smith again for 7-2 lead through two period. In the third Smith scored from Nick Castillo and Portlock for the Indians 8th goal, before A21 scored for the final 8-3 scored. Logan Raffaele took the win in net.
Sunday morning proved to be a much different game as A21 jumped out to a three goal lead before Jack Swan scored from Kevin Smith to get back with in two goals. A21 added another in the second period and one early in the third before PJ Donnelly scored, set up by Chase Tallaire and Grant Wickham. With the net empty A21 scored for the 5-2 difference and the win. Gabe Rosek was in the net for the Indians.
