Indians season ends with a heartbreaking 2-1 loss in overtime to Little Caesars

In the final game of the Round Robin portion of the State Championships the Indians faced off against Little Caesars in a do or die game both teams with the winner advancing to play Saturday morning in the semi finals.  In a very physical first period neither team could break the ice.  In early stages of the second period the Indians won the battle in front of the Caesars goalie with Ethan St.Germain putting the puck behind their netminder, assisted by Trevor Jestadt to take a 1-0 lead.  Late in the period with 55 seconds remaining Caesars got one by CJ Boothe to tie the game.  In the third both teams missed golden opportunities and it ended 1-1.  Overtime saw the Indians have great opportunities to score but didn't convert and with 3:04 remaining in overtime Caesars was able to work the puck out from behind the net and punched it in behind the goaltender for the winning goal.  CJ Boothe played outstanding stoping 42 shots in a losing effort.

The Indians end the season with record of 36 wins 19 losses and 5 ties in what was a very successful season.
