Indians open the Honeybaked/Compuware with a 3-3 against the Michigan Nationals
In the first game against the Michigan Nationals the Indians opened slow giving up a quick goal, but came back fighting and at the 3:37 mark Ashton Calder converted on a power play assisted by Kyle Yates and John Pesek to tie the game. Two minutes later Nick Skaluba scored on a shot from the point assisted by Brenden MacLaren to take the lead through the first period. In the second period the Nationals knotted the score, however Calder scored his second power play goal to regain the lead from Cole Lussier and Pesek. The Nationals scored their third late in second period to make it 3-3 and both teams played even through the third to end in a tie. CJ Boothe stopped 27 shots to take the tie in net.
The Indians second game will be against team Ohio at 630 Compuware arena.
