Indians put together 54 solids minutes of hockey for a 7-3 win over West Michigan
In the Sunday morning rematch the Indians came out firing pucks at the Hounds goalie. In the first period it was the Zach Satalino show, scoring the first of his two goals at the 3:54 mark assisted by Chris Hazen and Brendan Miller then again unassisted four minutes later. Ashton Calder stripped the puck from the Hounds defenseman and buried a shot past their goalie with 8 seconds remaining in the period to take a 3-1 lead into the dressing room. At the start of the second period the Indians put together a text book passing right from the face off and Brendan Miller buried a shot over the shoulder of the goaltender to go up 4-1 14 seconds into the period, assists going Satalino and Kyle Yates. The hounds answered back to get within two but Alex Williams picked up a rebound and put in the back of the net to go back up three assisted by Yates and Evan Augustine. In the third period West Michigan scored early but after that the Indians took over and Calder scored his second of the game assisted by Brenden MacLaren and Yates. In the final minutes Maclaren scored a power play goal from Satalino and Cole Lussier to seal the win. Brandon Gordon took the win in the net, next action will have the Indians traveling to Detroit to play in the Compuware/Honeybaked Invitational.
