Indians double up on the Chicago Young Americans 4-2
In the second game of the Wisconsin road trip the Indians found their legs and some scoring touch to take a 4-2 win over CYA. Both teams battle through the first period scoreless until the 13:34 mark of the second period when the Young Americans took a 1-0 lead, the Indians battle back and Trevor Jestadt scored on passes from John Pesek and Ashton Calder to tie the game. Less that a minute later Landon Hubbard scored on a nice pass from Evan Augustine to take a one goal lead, however CYA didn't quit and came right back to tie the game again. Late in the second period the Indians lite the lamp twice, first Pesek put a shot over the CYA goaltenders shoulder after he had joined the rush and took a nice pass from Brenden MacLaren and Brendan Miller, to take the lead again, with 14 seconds remaining Cole Lussier drove the net and snuck one by the CYA goaltender to take a two goal lead into the dressing room, assisted by Calder. In the third both teams played a tight checking style and neither team added to the score. CJ Boothe took the win in the net for the Indians.
The Indians will conclude the road trip with a rematch against the Madison Capitals tomorrow morning at 11am.
