Indians double up on Copper Country 6-3

Saturday night the Indians opened early and often in the first period, Nolan Slachetka opened the scoring from Spencer Denbeste, less than two minutes later Zak Lasley found the twine from DenBeste and Hayden Clark.  Kalvin Hillock got on the board less than 20 seconds later from Brendan Miller and Dylan Cook, then Justin Hendrickson added another from Georg Landro and Dyllon Anderson to finish out the Indians scoring in first period before Copper Country scored to end the period 4-1.  Hillock netted his second of the game from Miller early in the second, however Copper Country fought back with two of their own to get within two at the end of the second period.  The only scoring of the third was a powerplay goal by Hayden Clark from Miller and DenBeste to set the final score 6-3.  Aidan Curry turned away 20 shots in the net for the win.
