Indians drop two to Compuware

The Indians opened at home Saturday facing the Compuware Ambassadors, Compuware opened the scoring late in the first period, before Colton Hayes evened the score a minute later assisted by Trevor Prince for the Indians.  Compuware added another goal to go ahead again before the end of the first period and added two more unanswered goals in the second period and three in the third before the Indians mounted a comeback.  Trevor Prince started the scoring from Colton Hayes, then Isaac Ellingson scored unassisted, and finally Cooper Smyl netted goal to get the score to 7-4 for Compuware.  The Indians couldn’t muster any more goals ending for a 7-4 loss.  Dakota Meyer took the loss in net.
Sunday mornings rematch saw both teams play even through the first period before Compuware scored late in the second period for the lead.  In the third they added two more for a 3-0 lead and the win.  Gabe Rosek was in net stopping 30 shots in a losing effort.
The Indians will be back in action next weekend when the travel to Thunder Bay Ontario to take on the Kings.
