Indians battle Lake Forest Prep Academy

This weekend the Indians took on the highly ranked Lake Forest Prep Academy from Chicago IL.  Saturday night LFA scored late in the first period to take the lead and held it until late in third when Cody Carlson scored on scramble in front of the net from Luke Parry and Chase Tallaire to even the score.  With the scored tied at the end of regulation both teams opted for a 3 on 3 overtime for 5 minutes to see if a winner could be determined and with 1:39 remaining LFA capitalized on a turn over to take the win.  Dakota Meyer played excellent in net.
Sundays game was much different as LFA scored in first period, added two more in the second and third for the 5-0 win and Indians couldn’t generate any offense.  Dakota Meyer stopped 30 shots in a loosing effort.
The Indians will get back to work this week and travel to Detroit Thursday to participate in the NAPHL Playoffs.
