Indians top Sioux Falls Power 4-3 in overtime

In the opening game of the NAPHL Dixon Cup playoffs the Indians came away with a 4-3 win in overtime.  The Power opened the scoring midway through the first period, then added another 8 minutes into the second for the 2-0 lead.  At 8:49 Colton Hayes broke in on the left wing and beat the to goalie high to get within 1, then early in the third on a power play he again put it past their netminder to even the score, assist went to Domenick Evtimov and Nick Castillo.  Sioux Falls fought back scoring on a power play of their own 3 minutes into the third, but with the net empty Warner Young found Chase Tallaire on side of the net who set up Cooper Smyl for the tying goal with 33 seconds remaining to send the teams to overtime.  In the 4 minute 3 on 3 overtime Cody Carlson set up Tallaire in front of the net for overtime winner.  Dakota Meyer took the win in net.
The Indians will face the Madison Capitals next at 6:15, Troy Sports Plex.
