Saturdays game vs the Barrie Colts has been moved up to 2pm due to the LSSU vs MSU game

MDHL started out fast scoring 2 goals in the first period before Spencer Silver scored from Nolan Slachetka and Kalvin Hillock, MDHL regained the lead and then added another go up 4-1. Justin Hendrickson scored on a shot from point assisted by Hillock, then MDHL responded again before Hillock scored late in the third period unassisted for one of his own. The final score ended 6-3 for the MDHL. Jordan Lawday took the loss in the net.
The Indians return home to take on the Barrie Colts at the Taffy Abel Arena Saturday and Sunday.
The Indians got caught on the first shift as Meijer took a 1-0 lead one minute into the game, from that point on they played even until the 9 minute mark of the second period when Meijer up the lead up to 2. One minute later Spencer Silver split the defense on a pass from Hayden Clark to go in on a breakaway and scored. In the third period the Tribe continually applied pressure but couldn't get the equalizer and fell 2-1. Aidan Curry played excellent in the net, but in a lossing effort.
The Indians now play the MDHL White at 5pm tonight in Farmington Hills.
West Seneca caught the Indians early and scored to go up 1-0 in the first period, however from that point the Indians fought back. Spencer Silver scored from Justin Hendrickson and Brendan Miller to even the score through one period, in the second Dylan Cook scored from Spencer DenBeste to take the lead, then DenBeste scored one of his own unassisted to make it a two goal lead. Nolan Slachetka from DenBeste again put them up 3. Dyllon Anderson got on the board from Silver, DenBeste got his second of the game from Slachetka. The Indians continued scoring as Brendan Miller scored from Hendrickson and Kyle Lake scored unassisted to finish out the scoring for the game. Aidan Curry took the win in net.
The Indians will take on Meijer AAA tomorrow morning at 8 am.
The Friday morning game saw the Scorpions jump out to a two goal lead before the Indians found their attack, Spencer Silver tipped a pass by the Scorpion netminder from Nolan Slachetka and Dyllon Anderson to get back to a one goal deficit. Then less than forty seconds later Spencer DenBeste found himself open on the back side of the netminder with a rebound and an open net to tie the game up at two each. Justin Moyle and Kyle Lake assisted on that goal. In the third period the Indians put continuous pressure on Tampa but couldn't get one between their pipes and with five minutes remaining the Scorpions scored to go up one, then with 50 seconds remaining on a powerplay they sealed the win to get their fourth goal of the game. Jordan Lawday stopped 30 shots in a lossing effort.
The Indians will return to action at 320 pm today against the West Seneca Wings from New York.
