Barbeau joins staff

Goalie coach Terry Barbeau has joined the Soo Indians staff with the departure of Mike Malluicci leaving the area for work reasons.  Terry has previously worked with goalies in the OHL with the Saginaw Spirit and the Soo Greyhounds. Terry currently runs goalie camps in north america and was long time goalie coach for NHL and Olympian  Ryan Miller of the Vancouver Canucks, Ryan Miller played 2 years with the Soo Indians AAA before moving onto Juniors.

CCM-Reebok

 

   The Soo Indians are very proud and happy to announce that Reebok-CCM will be the official equipment supplier of the Soo Indians. The team will be wearing new CCM helmets,gloves, pant shells, jerseys and socks. In addition to that the players will have direct access to personalized sticks and other gear of there choice from CCM. We will be dealing directly with the same rep who supplies the USHL teams.

Barbeau drafted by the Michigan warriors

Andrew Barbeau was drafted by the Michigan Warriors in the second round 40th overall in the NAHL draft. Barbeau known as a hard hitting defenseman scored 7 goals and added 9 assists for 16 points in 51 games during the 2013-2014 season.

Cole Lussier drafted by the Soo eagles

Lussier tallied 23 goals 30 assists in 56 games for Indians during the 2013-2014 season. Cole is a strong power forward with great hockey sense and playmaking ability, he was drafted in the 7th round 143 overall in the NAHL draft.
