Indians down Compuware 4-1 in Plymouth
On the second road game of the weekend the Indians put together a solid game to take a 4-1 victory. In the first period Compuware came out and put early pressure on the Indians, However CJ Boothe stood his ground and the Indians found their legs and at the 7:05 mark Brenden MacLaren banged home a rebound assisted by John Pesek and Ethan St.Germain. With 47 seconds remaining in the first period Blake Mastaw scored from Zach Satalino to take a 2-0 lead through the first period. In the second period the Indians continued to apply pressure and Mike Miller buried a shot from slot for 3-0 lead from Nick Skaluba and Kyle Yates. Compuware finally found a way to get one by Boothe on scramble in front of their net. However Ashton Calder took the puck to the net hard and put it behind the Compuware netminder for a 4-1 lead from Trevor Jestadt and Evan Augustine. From that point neither team could score and the Indians took the win. CJ Boothe played outstanding in the net for the win.
The Indians finish their road trip tomorrow morning at 11am against Honeybaked at Hazel Park Arena.
