Hubbard shocks the Electricians with a five goal performance

In the Sunday rematch the Indians continued their scoring barrage on the Electro's. Landon Hubbard opened the scoring 6 minutes into the game unassisted, Zach Satalino scored the second of game 6 minutes later unassisted also. Hubbard scored his second of the game on nice pass from Kyle Yates and Hubbard scored his "Hatrick" 20 seconds later. Brenden MacLaren scored his first of two late in the period from Cole Lussier to finish off the first period. Hubbard notched his fourth early in the second unassisted. MacLaren scored his second on a beautiful pass from Blake Mastaw, and Ashton Calder got on the board with shot past the Electricians goalie assisted by Nick Skaluba. Hubbard buried his fifth of the night from Skaluba and Brandon Gordon.

The Indians opened fast in the third when Kyle Yates scored from Mike Miller and Cole Lussier 24 seconds in, Lussier found the back of net midway through the period from Hubbard and Gordon. Triston Theriot threaded a shot through traffic assisted by Mastaw, Evan Augustine rounded out the days scoring from Lussier and Gordon. Brandon Gordon took the win and shutout in net.

The Indians are off for the Holidays and return to action on January 2 when they travel to Madison Wisconsin to take on the Capitals and Chicago Young Americans

Augustine lights up the Electros with a five point night

In the first game of the game of the weekend Evan Augustine put on a show scoring the first two of his four goals in the first period. He opened the scoring at 9:48 mark unassisted and again at 15:03 from Zach Satatino, John Pesek opened the scoring in the second period early from Chris Hazen. Augustine score his third for the "Hatrick" at the four minute mark from Kyle Yates and Kristian Jackson. Mike Miller put the Indians up 5-0 at the end of the period from Pesek and Cole Lussier. Blake Mastaw opened the scoring in the third from Ashton Calder, one minute later Cole Lussier scored from Mike Miller. Augustine wasn't finished scoring and picked off a pass during a penalty kill and netted his fourth goal of the night. The Electricians broke the shutout late in the third, but Brendan Miller found the net at the end of period from Augustine to round out the Indians scoring for a 9-1 final. Brandon Gordon took the win in net.

Both teams return to action tomorrow morning 10am at the Pullar Staduim.

Indians fall to Honeybaked 6-2 in the final game of road trip

In the third game of the weekend the Indians came out and played even through the first period. In the second period John Pesek opened the scoring on an end to end rush that put the Indians up 1-0 assisted by Nick Skaluba. Honeybaked answered back two minutes later to knot the score at 1 all. At the 4:41 mark Cole Lussier scored from Zach Satalino and Pesek to regain the lead again, however in the
last 4 minutes of the period Honeybaked scored two goals to take a 3-2 lead into the dressing room. In the third the Indians tried to get the tying goal but Honeybaked was the only one to light the lamp in the period and the game ended 6-2 in their favor. Brandon Gordon played excellent in the pipes in a losing effort.

The Indians return home next weekend to take on the Marquette Electricians.
