Indians get one win and two losses on the road in Detroit this weekend

This weekend the Indians traveled to Detroit for a three game weekend taking on Belle Tire Friday night at the Taylor Sportplex.  Belle Tire jumped out to an early lead in the first period scoring four unanswered goals in the first period and one early in the second before they woke up and started to play.  Midway through the second period Cam Parrot tipped a shot by Justin Moyle to get the Indians on the board, Chase Tallaire had the other assist on the goal.  Then Steven Cope added another from Tallaire two minutes later to cut the lead and early in the third period Spencer Samppala scored on shot from the point set up by Drayke Micolo to get the Indians within two, however they early goals cost them they fell 5-3.  Dmitri Kochan was in net for the Indians.
Saturday night game in Rochester Hills saw the Indians square off against Honeybaked and the Indians got on the board first on a goal by Colton Hayes assisted by Garth Wickham to take the lead.  Honeybaked knotted the game, however Justin Moyle scored on shot from the blue line, set up by Bren Lyons to regain the lead.  Chase Tallaire added to the lead on nice shot from a pass from Steven Cope, Jeff Rahilly got on the board in the third period on power play goal, assisted by Moyle.  Honeybaked manage to get back to within two however Alex Rairigh shut the door to take the win.
Sunday morning the Indians made their final stop in Frazier to play the Oakland Grizzlies, the Grizzlies took a two goal lead after two periods, then added a one in third before Justin Moyle broke the ice scoring for the Indians, assisted by Steven Cope.  After that neither team could manage a goal and the final score ended 3-1 Oakland.  Dmitri Kochan was in the pipes.
The Indians will be back on the road next weekend traveling to Lake Forest IL to take on the Lake Forest Prep Academy
