Indians fall to Fox Motors
Monday, October 26, 2020 at 01:22PM Saturday nights game saw Fox Motors jump out to 3-0 lead until Colin Goff scored with 29 seconds remaining in the first period, assisted by Bryce Grandbois and Jack Mattais. In the second period Fox added 3 more goals before Mattais added a goal of his own from Grandbois to cut the lead to 6-2, Fox Motors added one more in the final period for the 7-2 win. Logan Raffaele turned away 34 shots in a losing effort.
Sunday morning in the rematch the Indians jumped out to an early lead on goal by Dylan Szabo from Bryce Grandbois at the 12:07 march of the first period, however Fox answered right back to even the score 25 seconds later. Two minutes later Fox took the lead and added a third goal at 1:59 mark for a 3-1 lead, Peter Pawlanta scored, set up by Grandbois with 29 seconds remaining in the first period to set the score at 3-2 through the first period. Fox added one in the second and another in the third period to secure the 5-2 win. Logan Raffaela had the duties between the pipes for the Indians.
The Indians travel to Detroit next weekend to take on Honeybaked 5pm Saturday at the Suburban Ice Arena in Farmington Hills and again Sunday morning 1115am at the Novi Ice Arena.
