Indians battle to a 3-2 Shoot out win over Little Caesars
Friday, February 11, 2022 at 09:30PM Friday night the Indians traveled to Detroit Little Caesar Arena to take on the Pizza makers in MAHA League action. Little Caesars got on the board early scoring 1:30 into the game give them a 1-0 lead they held going into the second period, then early in the second period they scored again to add to their lead. The Indians finally broke the ice and cut the lead to one on Colin Goff power play goal set up by Seve Litz, then less than a minute later Alex Fruend scored another power play goal from Ethan Lindle and Kyle Stevens to even the score. Both teams battle through the third period and a 5 minute overtime to send the teams into a shoot out. In the Shoot out Kole Altergott scored to give the Indians the advantage and Taylor White shut down all the Little Caesars players to secure the win in net for Indians.
The Indians will take on the Indy Fuel tomorrow night at 6pm in Oak Park.
